Did you know that September and even October are
great times to get your home painted or stained?
The temperature is a
little cooler, but the paint still dries and cures consistently throughout the
day. Plants around your house become less of an issue to work
around. Today’s paints and stains are engineered to be applied at
temperatures down to 35 degrees. We don’t push our luck that far, but
generally down to 40 degrees and dry is a fine day to paint. September
temperatures are usually in the 60’s and 70’s and October’s are generally in
the 50’s and 60’s. Later in October can be a bit tougher to get nice
days, but in the last few years it has been very warm throughout the month.
